Do you live in this area – or know someone who does? We have been asked to help find volunteers to join the Forum:
Please find attached an invitation for applications for membership of the new Cheshire East Local Access Forum, a statutory body of volunteers which advises the Council and other organisations on access to the countryside.
The Forum exists to represent views of all those with an interest in access to the countryside, including:
· users of public rights of way, access land and country parks;
· disabled users;
· health promotion;
· land management;
· walking and cycling as sustainable travel;
· the rural economy including tourism; and
· heritage, conservation and other interests.
I would be grateful if you would circulate this email and attachment to your wider networks, and encourage applications from those who may be interested.
Thanks in anticipation.
