Horsham Riverside Walk 16th July

Why not join us on this unusual day out exploring the outer limits of Horsham, a delightful market town in West Sussex.  It passes through many different, picturesque and interesting areas – countryside, parks, nature reserves – and follows the River Arun and other water courses en route.  It is very different to our usual rambles – for a start it is 12.4 miles long, don’t worry most of our batteries can cope with that as the pace is relatively slow and the terrain is, for the most part, not particularly challenging.  It is organised by the Horsham Town Community Partnership – www.horshamtowncommunitypartnership.btck.co.uk for more information.  There were 100+ walkers last year although you hardly see them as the disabled route is slightly amended but it is all very friendly and enjoyable.  At present we have approximately 8 scooters attending so please let Val Rawlings know if you would like to take part on 07818 245156 or email me at valerie@rawlings-family.org.uk so I can register you.

We plan to arrive at The Rugby Club, Hammerpond Road, Horsham, RH13 6PJ at 9.30am ready to leave at approximately 10.00am.  For more concise directions please contact Val as above.
