*Tuesday 12th June Graffham Downland RR

Tuesday 12th June – Graffham Downland Nature Reserve, nr Chichester, West Sussex

This is a lovely ramble of approx 7 miles, Cat 2+ – along the South Downs Way in West Sussex taking us to Graffham Downland Nature Reserve through lovely downland and farmland to Graffham Downland Nature Reserve where we will have a talk from a member of the Graffham Downland Trust about the work they have done and hope to do in this area of the South Downs National Park.

There will be many wild flowers and super views and is a proposed route for the SDNPA “Miles without Stiles” scheme, so please come and test it for them on your scooter.

On our return a local farmer runs a tea room and would welcome a visit from us on top of which he is hoping to start up a campsite with charging points for Trampers and the like, so it would be a good stopping off place if exploring the area in the future – we will hear all about it during our tea!

I do hope we get a good turnout for this as the SDNPA and people like our local farmer are trying to do all they can to help us.  Please contact Val via rambles@disabledramblers.co.uk if you would like to come – it’ll be a great day!
