Every year Sue and Ted Jeffery hold a golf tournament and barbecue to celebrate their wedding anniversary. This year, the 21stanniversary, all the evening guests were told they could eat drink and dance all night in exchange for a donation to Disabled Ramblers. Captain George Power

Captain George Power

28th June 1919 – 30th June 2014  We are sad to report the death of Captain Power. An enthusiastic rambler and traveler, he covered over 7,000 miles on his Tramper TWS, one of the first to leave the factory.

Robin H update


I’m very pleased to let you all know that Aelwyn is now in the Bradbury Ward at Woking Community Hospital where she is receiving rehabilitation therapies. She is improving slowly and making a good recovery.

Robin H


Robin’s wife, Aelwen, suffered a major stroke two weeks ago. She has just come out of intensive care into intensive nursing. We all wish her well for a full recovery.  Until then Robin will not be able to take part in DR activities.

While visiting the Mobility Roadshow at Peterborough today, Tony was interviewed on camera about the Disabled Ramblers for the show organisers. Dorothy was kept busy giving out Disabled Ramblers leaflets to many of the visitors.
