On Friday 28th March, we have the first Warwickshire DR regional ramble around Ilmington and the Foxcote estate on the northern edge of the Cotswolds.
We’ll start by looking around the village of Ilmington, where there will be toilets but not disabled access ones, and set off uphill towards the Foxcote estate. Views will be good as this is close to the highest point in Warwickshire.
It will be a grade 2 ramble generally of about 6 miles using quiet country lanes and estate roads but with a steep climb uphill and a rutted and muddy section on a bridle path to keep things interesting.
Update: Due to the mud (and the steepness of the hill) it has been decided to change the ramble to a Cat 3
