We have just had sad news of the death, on 30th June, of Captain George Power (28th June 1919 – 30th June 2014) – two days after his 95th birthday. He had been a member for the last four years and was a familiar part of our rambles on his early model of the 3-Wheeled Tramper on which he traveled over 7,000 miles! He was a very enthusiastic rambler and always one of the first to renew membership.
