6 foot by 4 foot trailer with sturdy ramp, from M&E Trailers. Bought new from John Stayte Services in Cirencester in May this year (2014) to carry my Supersport mobility scooter, and only used a few times. The trailer is easily big and sturdy enough to carry a tramper or even a quad bike or motorbike.
It has:
– A heavy duty ramp
– Stabilising legs that can be lowered when unloading if you’re not attached to a car
– A jockey wheel
– A tow hitch lock so it can’t be unclipped from your towbar when you’re parked up
– removable number plate holder
– 4 attachment points for tie-down straps
– Full lighting with Euro-standard 13 pin electric socket (you can get converters for the older 7 pin style)
– Spare wheel
– Manual
The trailer cost over £1300 new with all the add-ons, and has hardly been used so this is a fair price. I’m only selling because unfortunately I find it just too big and heavy to move around by myself when it’s not attached to the car, so I need to sell it to get a smaller one. Anyone bigger or a little less broken than me would find it OK though, and it’s a really useful size.
