– Calvert Trust has three centres:
— Calvert Devon (was Calvert Exmoor)
— Calvert Kielder
— Calvert Lakes
– Hoe Grange Holidays (accessible holidays in the Peak District)
— Hoe Grange Holidays also has BOMA 7 off-road wheelchair that can be hired by guests.
– Lyneal Trust (canal boat and cottage holidays as well as canal day trips in Shropshire)
– TravelEyes (for sight impaired people and sighted people who get up to 50% discount to act as guides)
– Trevassack Holidays (accessible watersports holidays in Cornwall)
Other Rambles on Wheels Groups
England
– Experience Community offers activities and journey planning support for disabled people and the wider community. Based in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, they run inclusive rambles and have adaptive equipment for hire.
– Pony Axe S takes both you and your wheelchair in a pony-drawn buggy to places without the need to transfer you away from your wheelchair.
– Wheeled Access Group (W.A.G.) leads walks on Dartmoor during the Dartmoor Walking Festival and through the year.
— In addition to finding accessible routes on Dartmoor for disabled people using powered wheelchairs and mobility scooters, W.A.G. also works with land managers to make simple changes on routes to improve access.
