With regard to the Hatfield Photos I love number 4/24. Thanks John B. I would call this one ‘The Knights of the DR Round Table’

Hatfield Forest was a super ramble, thanks Tony for arranging it, the Nat.Trust staff were so helpful and friendly it was a treat. I particularly liked the disused railway line with the carpet of leaves and coppiced wood at the side, thought it was lovely. The mud was hilarious, made me feel a bit better about my New Forest ramble! Nice way to round off the year, and I am now looking forward to meeting up with you all during 2013. Great group, great people! Regards to all, Val

What a great way to round off the 2012 season! Tony & Dorothy Dickens did a marvellous job at short notice setting up this scenic ramble in an area which few of us have visited before. This has proved to be one of the main reasons why we so enjoy our membership as we have now seen so much more of our beautiful countryside than otherwise. The figure of 8 route was so valuable as it allowed us to return to the centre where we found our hot meal waiting. Very welcome on a cool day!! The Estate Manager Simon added value to the occasion providing plenty of interesting info about the area, its history & the support available. It was good to see so many ramblers ( 14 buggies + 12 walkers ) & we hope that we shall be able to find room for another visit in 2013 in drier warmer weather.

Thank you Tony and Dorothy for lovely ramble in Hatfield Forest.
Thanks also to Simon for guiding us, Ted, John, Stuart and Colin for pushing and pulling me out of the muddy bits! The embarrassment of it all!!!
We have so enjoyed being with you all on rambles over the last 6 months, such wonderful people who are full of fun and enjoying the ‘Great Outdoors’.

Thanks to you all, see you next year and we wish you a Merry Christmas and healthy and happy New Year.

    Love from

    Sue and Colin Raymond
