Day one saw our intrepid ramblers in the New Forest battling against the rain – the most we have had on any of our rambles this year. Things were not helped by forestry workers taking up a bridge even though checks had only just been made that our route was OK. Well done to Di for quickly sorting out an alternative.
Day two at Hengistbury Head couldn’t have been more different. The sun was out and there was no wind up on the cliff top so we were able to enjoy the extensive views while having lunch. A most enjoyable end to our 2014 season.
