Free loan of Tramper for Free guided ramble on a farm surrounded by moorland in Bowland, Lancashire.
John Alpe farms 1000 acres on land rising from the River Hodder to a height of 1300 feet on moorland fells. The farm sits on a limestone outcrop and offers glorious views of the Hodder Valley surrounded by moorland and some of the highest land in Bowland. This is an organic farm with sheep and both beef & dairy cattle.
John will guide you around the area either on your own off-road scooter or the Tramper we have loaned to him.
There is a fully accessible toilet at the farm. The 3 to 4-mile ramble is ideal for all the family.
