Disabled Ramblers – Campaigning to Improve Access

Access Campaigning Report 2019

As you may know, in addition to running rambles, we do a great deal of campaigning to improve access to the countryside.

The attached report is a celebration of what members, who are able, do to encourage Government, Land Owners, and Local Councils to remove barriers and improve access to the countryside. All this voluntary work takes a great deal of their time and is unpaid although we do offer to reimburse expenses – so any donations towards these costs is very welcome.

Not all of their efforts are recorded here – and I’m sure there are many more members around the country doing this sort of campaigning.

I’m sure you will join me in thanking them all for their commitment and dedication. Change doesn’t happen quickly but we keep chipping away!!
